Bihler of America, Inc. is looking for a Quality Inspector to support production.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Compare parts to engineering prints, check attributes per inspection plans
- Performs measurements on product variables utilizing various inspection equipment (CMM, comparator, micrometer, gages, etc.)
- Notify supervisor and/or production immediately of product quality issues
- Inspection results must be organized and entered into report format
- Maintain organized and clean work environment
- Manage internal and external calibration of measuring instruments
Skills & Requirements:
- Must be able to maintain a safe working environment and follow applicable safety standards
- Must be able to understand and follow standard operating procedures
- Should have familiarity with multiple measuring instruments
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Must be flexible with changes in priorities and scheduling, 8hr shift, M-F
- Background in Quality is a plus
- Familiarity with metal stamping and ISO/IATF desired
- Requires good math skills and proficiency in communicating (verbal and written) in English
- Computer skills a benefit (Microsoft, Excel, Word, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- Be able to perform work in assembly plants
- Frequent standing and walking
Specific Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications, Etc.:
- GED or High School Diploma Required
- Technical degree preferred
